Amritsar January 13 (K L Jit Walia):- The Lohri festival was celebrated with great enthusiasm and in a traditional manner by the ITPA Association of Chartered Accountants and Advocates at the Income Tax Office Mall Road Amritsar. On this occasion the members lit the Lohri bonfire and prayed for mutual brotherhood prosperity and happiness.
Members of the ITPA executive committee were present at the event including CA Gaurav Gupta President Advocate Salil Chopra Vice President Advocate Vikram Dass Secretary and CA Vishal Tuli Joint Secretary. The chief guest of the program was Advocate Gurpreet Singh Panesar President of the Amritsar Bar Association who extended Lohri greetings to all members and described such events as important for promoting social and professional harmony.
Other distinguished members of ITPA present on the occasion included CA Lakhwinder Bhatia Advocate Sudarshan Kapoor CA Davinder Singh Advocate Tajinder Singh Arora Advocate Manjit Singh Anand CA Pankaj Khaneja CA Ravi Khanna CA Sunil Mehra Advocate N K Jain Advocate Vinod Mahajan and Advocate Anil Puri.
At the conclusion of the program all members distributed traditional Lohri prasad and exchanged greetings bringing the celebration to a warm and cheerful end.
