Amritsar, September 3 (Phuljit Singh Varpal/Parveen Pandit): The entire team of Akal Sewa Foundation, which has been continuously engaged in providing assistance to people affected by floods, is working day and night to serve needy people in various flood-affected areas, including Nepal and Chitrakoot, as mentioned in the report.
Speaking on the occasion, Akal Sewa Foundation President Harpal Singh Randhawa said that coming forward to help someone in their time of need is the true meaning of humanity and genuine service.
He said, “Whatever we are capable of doing, we are standing shoulder to shoulder with our people and serving them during this difficult time.”
He informed that the foundation’s teams are engaged in serving needy people at different locations. He said that the foundation’s team is also actively involved in relief and service work in Chitrakoot, where Sarbjit Singh Sonu Jandiala and his colleagues are continuously working day and night to help people in need.
Harpal Randhawa said that it is the responsibility of every individual to stand firmly with the affected people during such a difficult period.
He appealed to everyone to come forward and support those affected by the floods, adding that standing together like a rock beside people in times of distress is the true spirit of humanity and service.
