Bathinda, September 2 (Satpal Mann): Another new name is rapidly making its mark in the Punjabi music industry — Sandeep Sidhu, a native of village Behman Diwana in Bathinda district.
Over the past few days, Sandeep Sidhu has frequently been seen and heard by audiences at various Teeyan celebrations and cultural fairs held in the region. Along with her impressive singing, her stage presence, beauty and presentation have also received appreciation.
It would not be an exaggeration to say that singer Sandeep Sidhu represents a fine blend of melodious singing and stage appeal.
During a recent interaction at a programme, Sandeep said that, like many others, she had been fond of singing since her school days. However, her passion for singing grew significantly after she came in contact with renowned Malwa-based singer Jaswinder Brar.
Sandeep Sidhu said that she spent a considerable amount of time with Jaswinder Brar, performing at various programmes and learning the nuances and techniques of singing. Later, she also began performing duet songs on stage with several other singers and artists, which helped her singing improve day by day.
Sandeep said that since her inclination has increasingly been towards solo singing, she has now dedicated herself exclusively to solo songs.
She has now recorded her first solo song, “Yaar Gaddar.” The song has been penned by lyricist Bedos Nandgaria, while its musical composition has been created by Dazzar Beat.
Producer Daljit Warring said that the song “Yaar Gaddar” will be released on September 10 on the Dilshan YouTube channel, during an event to be held at Matti Bhawan, Bathinda.
Producer Daljit Warring further said that the music video has been filmed by Sonu Bains, and the video is expected to be worth watching.
Singer Sandeep Sidhu is highly hopeful of receiving an overwhelming response from the audience to her debut solo song.
