BJP Mahila Morcha accorded a grand welcome to newly appointed District President Salil Kapoor

Former Punjab BJP Mahila Morcha President and ONGC Director Mrs. Reena Jaitly, along with Amritsar District Mahila Morcha President and Councillor Shruti Vij, welcomed the newly appointed BJP Amritsar Urban District President Salil Kapoor at Mrs. Reena Jaitly’s residence in Akash Avenue. Party workers presented him with bouquets, sweets, and a ceremonial shawl to extend their congratulations. District General Secretary Manish Sharma was also present on the occasion. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from Mahila Morcha office-bearers and party workers.
Congratulating Salil Kapoor, Reena Jaitly expressed full confidence in his leadership and said that his appointment would bring new energy and strength to the organization. She said that Salil Kapoor and his family have long been associated with the BJP. Starting as a Ward President in the BJP Youth Wing, he successfully served as District President and later held several responsibilities at the state level with dedication. Recognizing his commitment, the party leadership has now entrusted him with the responsibility of District President, which she believes he will discharge while taking everyone along.
Addressing the gathering, Salil Kapoor thanked the women members and the party leadership for placing their trust in him. He assured everyone that he would perform his responsibilities with complete honesty and dedication. He said that strengthening the BJP’s grassroots support in the district and taking the Central Government’s welfare schemes to every household would be his top priorities.
He also appreciated the contribution of the Mahila Morcha, stating that women play a vital role in strengthening the party. He assured that the Mahila Morcha would work shoulder to shoulder with the organization in upcoming elections and other party activities.
