Amritsar, July 27 (K.L. Jit Walia):The final prayer ceremony (Rasam Kriya) of Amritsar’s beloved senior journalist Pankaj Sharma, who passed away recently, was held with deep respect and devotion today at a local palace in Chheharta. On the occasion, prominent personalities from the religious, social, political, and media fraternity gathered to pay their heartfelt tributes and expressed their condolences to the bereaved family.
Speakers remembered the late Pankaj Sharma as a humble, simple, and widely respected individual. They said that throughout his journalism career, he consistently highlighted issues concerning society and set an example of honest, impartial, and public-oriented journalism. His demise is an irreparable loss to the field of journalism.
