Amritsar, July 16 (K.L. Jit Walia):The appointment of Sarabjot Singh Dhanjal, District President of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Amritsar Urban, as the Chairman of the Amritsar Improvement Trust has sparked enthusiasm and celebrations among party workers. On Thursday, a large number of social, business, and political personalities visited his residence to congratulate him on his new responsibility.
On the occasion, a delegation led by Abhishek Bansal, Vice Chairman of the Punjab Government’s Trade Commission, Amritsar District, felicitated Sarabjot Singh Dhanjal. Senior leader Raman Sehgal and Bunty Mahajan, a member of the Education Department, were also present.
Abhishek Bansal said that Dhanjal’s appointment has infused fresh energy and confidence among party workers. He added that since the party’s inception, Dhanjal has served in various positions with honesty, dedication, and commitment, and this important responsibility is a recognition of his hard work.
Addressing the gathering, Sarabjot Singh Dhanjal thanked the party leadership, Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, and all district office bearers for their trust in him. He assured that he would discharge his responsibilities with complete honesty, transparency, and dedication.
He further stated that every project undertaken by the Amritsar Improvement Trust would be carried out transparently, and meeting the expectations of the people would remain his top priority.
Dhanjal also said that his primary goal is to strengthen the Aam Aadmi Party for the 2027 Punjab Assembly elections, ensure the party’s return to power, and contribute towards making Bhagwant Singh Mann the Chief Minister once again. He expressed confidence that, with the support of party workers, development and public welfare initiatives would gain further momentum.
