Amritsar, April 24 (K.L. Jit Walia) – A significant meeting was held to strengthen the presence of the Aam Aadmi Party in the Central constituency. The meeting was chaired by constituency in-charge and Labour Department Director Harpreet Singh Ahluwalia along with block in-charges.
The discussion focused on strengthening the organizational structure, increasing direct public outreach, and effectively communicating the government’s development work to the people. Block in-charges shared updates about their respective areas, public concerns, and suggestions related to party promotion.
Speaking on the occasion, Harpreet Ahluwalia stated that under the leadership of MLA Dr Ajay Gupta, unprecedented development work has been carried out in the Central constituency, surpassing what previous governments achieved. He highlighted improvements such as road repairs, cleanliness of streets and drains, better drinking water facilities, installation of street lights, and overall enhancement of basic infrastructure.
He further said that under Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the Punjab government is taking people-centric decisions and implementing welfare schemes for all sections of society. He emphasized the need to effectively communicate these achievements to the public so that people are aware of the government’s efforts.
Ahluwalia underlined the crucial role of block presidents, ward in-charges, and grassroots workers, calling them the backbone of the party. He urged all workers to serve with dedication and honesty, prioritize public grievances, and work actively toward their resolution.
The meeting was attended by Aje Noel, Surjit Bhagat, Rishi Kapoor, Manjit Singh, Charanjit Singh, Gurdas Singh, Roshan Singh, and several other party leaders and workers.
