Amritsar, April 18 (K.L. Jit Walia, Phuljeet Singh Varpal) – Kuldeep Singh Mamdu, General Secretary of the BC Wing (Urban) of the Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) in Amritsar, stated that BC Wing leaders will play a crucial role in helping the party form the government in the 2027 Assembly elections.
While interacting with journalists, he said that a strong organizational structure is being developed on a large scale to strengthen the party in every vidhansabha constituency of Amritsar city. He added that under the leadership and support of Sukhbir Singh Badal, senior Majha leader Bikram Singh Majithia, BC Wing National President Heera Singh Gabaria, Amritsar Urban President Surjit Singh Pahalwan, and BC Wing Urban President and Councillor Inderjit Singh Pandori, the organization is being strengthened at the grassroots level.
He further informed that presidents are being appointed in all five Assembly constituencies of Amritsar, and the process of appointing BC Wing heads in around 85 wards of the city is currently underway. This, he said, will further strengthen the party’s hold in the region.
Kuldeep Singh Mamdu expressed confidence that senior BC Wing leaders and workers will play an important role in taking the party’s policies door-to-door, paving the way for the formation of a Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) government in 2027.
