Public Welfare Programmes to Be Held on 13 Modules, Including Cleanliness, Health, De-addiction, Tree Plantation and Cyber Security
Punjab Media Times / Virendra Sharma / Narwana, September 15: The sub-divisional administration has completed all preparations for the successful implementation of the Seva Hi Sankalp Campaign. In this connection, a necessary meeting of officials was held under the chairmanship of SDM Jagdish Chandra.
Tehsildar Vijay Kumar, Naib Tehsildar Ranveer Singh, BDPO Narwana Tarun Suthar, BDPO Ujhana Haneesh Kumar, EO Municipal Council Rishikesh Chaudhary, SDO Panchayati Raj Bhupendra Singh, AERO Krishna Kumar, Dr. Bhup Singh and other officials and employees were present at the meeting.
SDM Jagdish Chandra said that the Seva Hi Sankalp Campaign will be conducted from September 17 to October 17. On September 17, marking the launch of the campaign, the Ashirwad Ka Deep will be lit at public buildings, PM Shri schools, Model Sanskriti schools and various booths across the subdivision.
He said that the EO of the Municipal Council has been appointed as the nodal officer for the programme in the urban area, while BDPOs of Narwana and Ujhana have been appointed as nodal officers for rural areas. At the booth level, responsibilities have been assigned to the concerned BLOs, Gram Secretaries, Patwaris and CPLOs. The required material, including lamps, oil and cotton, has already been distributed among the appointed employees.
The SDM said that 13 different modules have been prepared under the campaign, with separate dates fixed for programmes related to each module. During the campaign, public welfare programmes will be organised on issues such as Swachhta Hi Seva, tree plantation, health check-up camps, plastic-free awareness, de-addiction awareness, road safety and cyber security.
He said participation of beneficiaries of various government welfare schemes would also be ensured during the campaign. They will be provided comprehensive information about government schemes and policies.
Under the campaign, various awareness programmes, including Seva Ke Rang–Rashtra Ke Sang, Seva Mera Yogdan, Seva Setu Abhiyan, Seva Ki Kahani, Namo Seva and Aangan Milan Seva, will also be organised.
SDM Jagdish Chandra appealed to residents of the area to participate actively in the various programmes being organised under the Seva Hi Sankalp Campaign and contribute towards making this public welfare initiative successful.
