Duggal Recites Hanuman Chalisa Along with Devotees
Amritsar, June 4 (K.L. Jit Walia): Surinder Duggal, President of the Chemists Association Punjab and a prominent office-bearer of the Trade Board, District Amritsar, paid obeisance at Shivala Verma Wala Temple, located in Sher-e-Punjab Avenue, New Green Field, Majitha Road, Amritsar.
A weekly religious program was organized with the support of Eknur Seva Trust, where Surinder Duggal, accompanied by his wife and members of the temple committee, participated in the recitation of seven Hanuman Chalisa readings with great devotion and enthusiasm.
During the event, devotees took part in Hanuman Chalisa recitations, devotional bhajans, kirtan, and prayers for the welfare of all. Addressing the gathering during the aarti, Surinder Duggal said that people should always dedicate some time from their busy lives to remember God, as it brings peace and positivity to the mind. He emphasized that religious events play a vital role in connecting people with the Almighty.
On the occasion, chief volunteers Asha Rani and Arvinder Waraich appreciated Surinder Duggal for his social services, assistance to the needy, and significant contributions to religious activities. They honored him and other guests with traditional siropas (robes of honor). They also expressed gratitude to Duggal for assuring support towards the ongoing construction work of the temple.
The atmosphere became devotional as youth and women presented religious hymns and bhajans, captivating the devotees and encouraging their enthusiastic participation.
