Amritsar, June 10 (K.L. Jit Walia):- The Punjab Traders Commission, constituted by the Punjab Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to address the concerns of traders and industrialists at their doorstep, has intensified its grassroots efforts. As part of this initiative, a special meeting was organized with industrialists of the Bal Kala Industrial Association to discuss law and order issues and other business-related concerns.
The meeting was led by Abhishek Bansal, Vice Chairman of the Traders Commission (District Amritsar), and Kapil Chadha, Chairman of Amritsar East Constituency. It was conducted under the supervision of Association President Sandeep Khosla, General Secretary Rajan Mehra, and Senior Vice President Sanjeev Mahajan. Senior police and administrative officials, including DSP Yadvinder Singh, also attended the meeting.
Addressing the gathering, Abhishek Bansal stated that the Traders Commission is fully committed to resolving the issues faced by traders and industrialists in Amritsar on a priority basis. He emphasized that traders and industrialists are the backbone of Punjab’s economy and should not face unnecessary difficulties.
Kapil Chadha assured participants that long-pending development projects in the Bal Kala Industrial Area would be undertaken on a priority basis. He reiterated that the Traders Commission stands firmly with traders and industrialists and will make every effort to resolve their legitimate concerns.
During the meeting, industrialists raised various issues and suggestions related to their area. Officials responded positively and assured prompt action on the matters discussed.
Among those present were Hardev Singh (Member, Traders Commission, Attari Constituency), Association Chairman Jagdish Arora, Joint Secretary Anuj Dilawari, Working Committee Members Aman Dilawari, Nitin Khanna, Sumesh Mehra, Sanjeev Arora, Ashok Kandhari, Sanjeev Kindri, Mohi Ji, Lalit Agarwal, and a large number of industrialists.
