Amritsar, May 22 (K.L. Jit Walia) – The comedy play “Gabbar Singh Da Bhoot”, written by renowned late writer and director Mukesh Kundra and directed by Aman Kumar Bhartwaj, was staged today at Virsa Vihar. The outstanding performances by the artists kept the audience laughing throughout the show.
Former Chairman of the Improvement Trust Dinesh Bassi and India President of World Punjabi Council Canada Satbir Singh attended the event as chief guests. Special guests included Virsa Vihar General Secretary Ramesh Yadav, film comedian Harpreet Bhatia, Avina Arora (Star Health), former councillor Amarbeer Singh Sandhu, social worker Arun Kumar, National President of National Cow Protection Federation Dr. Rohin Mehra, GSCC President Navdeep Sahota, producer Gurmeet Kaur, and Punjab Media Times Chief Editor K.L. Jeet Walia.
Artists including Aman Kumar Bhartwaj, Diya Sharma, Vivek Bhartwaj, Pari, Gagandeep Singh, Chetan Sharma, Gurjeet Arora, Jagdish Jabbal, Rakesh Sharma, Seena, Sairy Singh, Samridhi Kapoor, and Gurinder Singh impressed the audience with their remarkable performances.
On this occasion, Dinesh Bassi and Satbir Singh congratulated the entire theatre team for their impactful acting and said that such plays spread positivity and meaningful entertainment in society while leaving a deep impression on people.
Comedian Harpreet Bhatia said that the hard work of the artists was clearly visible in the performance. He added that such plays provide healthy and quality entertainment to society.
Director Aman Kumar Bhartwaj welcomed the guests and said that the purpose of theatre is not only entertainment but also delivering a positive and meaningful message to society. He added that such plays teach important life lessons along with humor and laughter.
