Free Eye Check-up Camp Organized by Shiv Shakti Health Hub Gumtala
Amritsar, April 26 (K.L. Jit Walia):With the objective of social service and public welfare, a free eye check-up camp was organized by Shiv Shakti Health Hub Gumtala at Shiv Shakti Lab. The camp was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Rajeev Sharma and Amritsar-based renowned dietitian Sweta, with a team of expert doctors from Grace Optical & Eye Clinic, Jalandhar providing their services.
During the camp, around 100 patients underwent detailed eye examinations. Based on their needs, they were provided with eye drops and free spectacles. Local residents appreciated the initiative, stating that such camps are highly beneficial, especially for those who cannot afford expensive medical treatment.
On this occasion, Harpreet Singh Ahluwalia, Director of the Punjab Labour Commission, attended as the Chief Guest, while K. L. Jeet Walia was present as the Guest of Honor.
Harpreet Singh Ahluwalia praised the organizers and said that such service-driven initiatives are extremely helpful for the underprivileged. He emphasized that health awareness and free medical check-up camps are the need of the hour.
Prominent personalities including Pankaj Sharma, Aman Sharma, Khushi Agarwal, Naitik Sharma, Khushdeep Singh, Mannat Sharma, Narendra Sharma, and Ravi Arora were also present at the event. The organizers assured that they will continue to hold such public welfare camps in the future.
