Amritsar, April 18 (K.L. Jit Walia, Manpreet Sethi) – A special program was organized with great trust and enthusiasm on the occasion of the birth anniversary of B. R. Ambedkar in Ward No. 21, Rose Avenue (Rasulpur), under the Amritsar East Assembly constituency.
On this occasion, MLA Jeevanjot Kaur attended as the chief guest and paid floral tribute to Baba Saheb.
Addressing the gathering, Jeevanjot Kaur said that Bharat Ratna Dr. B. R. Ambedkar gave the country a Constitution that ensured equal rights for every section of society. She emphasized that the true tribute to him lies in following his path and working towards the spread of education.
The event was held near Joda Phatak on the main road, where a large number of local residents and distinguished personalities participated. The organizers also honored several present dignitaries during the program.
Several local leaders and residents of Ward No. 21 were present on the occasion, remembering Baba Saheb’s life and his struggles, and reaffirming their commitment to his ideals.
