Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony Held at New Salwan Public School
Amritsar, March 28 (K. L. Jit Walia):The annual prize distribution ceremony of New Salwan Public Senior Secondary School, located in Ward No. 18, Verka, was arranged with great festival and grandeur. The event was organized under the leadership of School Director Prem Salwan and Principal Tamanna Salwan.
On this occasion, Advocate Harpal Singh Nijjar, President of the Legal Wing (Majha Zone) of the Aam Aadmi Party Punjab, attended as the Chief Guest. The program began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by colorful cultural performances presented by the students. Songs, dances, and theatrical acts performed by the children were highly appreciated by the audience.
During the function, meritorious students were honored with awards for their outstanding achievements in various fields. The Chief Guest, Advocate Harpal Singh Nijjar, personally distributed prizes to the students and encouraged them.
In his address, he said that “today’s children are the future of the nation, and such academic and cultural programs play a vital role in nurturing their talent.” He congratulated the school management for not only focusing on education but also instilling cultural and moral values in students.
Motivating the children, he added that “students should achieve their goals through hard work, discipline, and dedication. A better society can only be built through the combined efforts of parents and teachers.”
The school management also honored the Chief Guest on the occasion. A large number of parents, teachers, and prominent members of the area attended the event and appreciated the talents of the students.
Among others present were Manager Sahil Salwan, Dr. Tarlochan Singh Verka, and several other distinguished personalities.
