Amritsar March 4 – Harpal Singh Randhawa a dedicated volunteer of Akal Seva Foundation and social worker Sarabjit Singh Sonu Jandiala were honored with a Siropa by the Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib Singh Sahib Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargajj. The recognition was given for their continuous efforts in protecting the historic legacy of Maharaja Ranjit Singh and promoting environmental conservation.
The honor acknowledged their dedicated service in heritage preservation selfless assistance in flood affected areas and initiatives to maintain a clean and green environment. Volunteers of Akal Seva Foundation have been actively engaged in tree plantation drives cleaning canals and rivers and spreading awareness about protecting water air and land.
Sarabjit Singh Sonu Jandiala has helped more than 100 road accident victims by ensuring they were transported to hospitals on time. He has also raised strong awareness against child begging and worked toward social reform. He has planted over one lakh saplings and played an active role in several cleanliness campaigns.
Harpal Singh Randhawa installs around 1000 bird houses every year to support bird conservation. Expanding this initiative he has announced that from this year onward 10000 bird houses will be installed annually. He stated that his life is devoted to environmental protection and preservation of heritage.
The Jathedar praised their selfless service and said such efforts are truly inspirational for society and encouraged youth to come forward and contribute toward community welfare and environmental responsibility.
