Amritsar, January 7:- AAP MLA from Amritsar West Assembly Constituency, Dr. Jasbir Singh Sandhu, today participated in the Parent–Teacher Meetings held at Government School of Eminence, Chheharta, and Government Senior Secondary School, Ghanupur. On the occasion, he held detailed discussions with parents and teachers regarding students’ studies, discipline and overall development, and reviewed the academic progress of the children.
Dr. Sandhu said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the Punjab Government is continuously taking concrete steps to strengthen the education sector. He highlighted that new classrooms are being constructed in schools, along with the installation of smart boards, development of modern libraries and playgrounds, to provide students with a modern and conducive learning environment.
Appreciating the efforts of teachers, he said that teachers are the foundation of society and play a crucial role in shaping the bright future of children. He also urged students to study with dedication and appealed to parents to pay close attention to every aspect of their children’s activities.
On this occasion, the school management also shared details of the ongoing development works in the institutions. Parents put forward their suggestions and assured full cooperation in further improving the quality of education.
During the programme, Pradeep Anand, Principal, Ghanupur; Manmeet Kaur, Principal, School of Eminence; BRC Shikha Dua, Rakesh Kumar, Rupinder Kaur, Navdeep Kaur, Chetan Sharma, Manik Kaushal, Chairman Gurdev Singh Jajji, PA Madhav Sharma, PA Amarjit Shergill, along with school staff, parents, students and a large number of local dignitaries were present.
