Nanded, January 21 (K. L. Jit Walia):On the occasion of the 350th martyrdom anniversary of the Ninth Sikh Guru, Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji, along with his devoted GurSikh companions Bhai Mati Das Ji, Bhai Sati Das Ji and Bhai Dayala Ji, grand commemorative programs are being organized on January 24 and 25, 2026 at Shri Hazur Sahib Nanded. These programs are being held with great reverence and at a high level by the Central Government, the Maharashtra Government and the Gurdwara Sachkhand Board Nanded.
Dr Vijay Satbir Singh, Chief Administrator of Gurdwara Sachkhand Board Nanded, informed that considering the large influx of devotees, a request was made to Union Railway Minister Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw and Minister of State Shri Ravneet Singh Bittu for the operation of special trains. Accepting this request, the Railway Ministry has made arrangements for special trains to Shri Hazur Sahib Nanded.
According to the schedule issued by the Railways, on January 23, 2026 and January 24, 2026, special trains will depart for Shri Hazur Sahib Nanded as follows:
• From Shri Amritsar, Train No 04642 will depart at 3:35 am
• From Chandigarh, Train No 04524 will depart at 5:40 am
• From Hazrat Nizamuddin Delhi, Train No 04494 will depart at 12:30 pm
These special trains will be equipped with sleeper and AC coach facilities for the convenience of the devotees.
Dr Vijay Satbir Singh appealed to all members of the sangat to avail themselves of these special train services to reach Shri Hazur Sahib Nanded and participate in the sacred programs of the 350th martyrdom anniversary, thereby seeking the blessings and grace of Guru Maharaj.
