Saints and devotees seek blessings from Mata Sudha Ji; community feast served throughout the day
Amritsar, September 24 (K.L. Jit Walia): The birthday of revered Guru Maa Sudha Ji was celebrated as “Guru Vandana Diwas” with devotion and enthusiasm at the temple premises. A large number of devotees gathered to receive blessings from Mata Sudha Ji and Rajesh Maharaj Ji.
Among those who visited the temple and sought Mata Ji’s blessings were Aam Aadmi Party Senior Deputy Mayor Priyanka Sharma, President Ritesh Sharma, Congress President Ashwani Pappu, President Haridev Sharma, Naushera Sarpanch Simranjit Kaur, Navdeep Singh and Ravinder Singh, along with several other dignitaries. Members of the saint community welcomed devotees by offering sweets.
Renowned bhajan groups from across Punjab extended birthday greetings to Mata Sudha Ji and sang devotional hymns in her praise. Their performances captivated the devotees gathered at the temple.
Several prominent members of the city’s saint community also attended to extend their greetings, including Aarti Deva Ji, Shri Manoj Maharaj Ji, Maa Sharda Maheshwari Ji, Dharampal Prabhakar, National President of the India Anti-Drug Organisation, and Rajesh Kondal, along with many other saints and devotees.
A community feast featuring a variety of dishes was served throughout the day as part of the birthday celebrations. Devotees partook of the prasad and received Mata Ji’s blessings.
Neeraj Saini, Deepak Saini, President Gurmail Singh, Balraj Singh, Shiva, Ramesh Chander, Sher Singh, Davinder Bhandari, Sukhbir Kaur, Jaspal Kaur, Vidya and Sharanjit Kaur were among the many devotees present.
