“Every youth should plant at least one tree and contribute to environmental conservation,” says Harjinder Singh Jinda

To promote environmental protection and greenery, senior Congress leader Harjinder Singh Jinda Kot Khalsa and Punjab Youth Congress Secretary Amanpreet Singh Harry, with the support of the Vicky Middukhera Foundation, organized a large sapling distribution camp on GT Road in memory of the late Vicky Middukhera. Hundreds of people received free saplings and were encouraged to take responsibility for protecting the environment.
Addressing the gathering, Harjinder Singh Jinda said that trees are the foundation of human life. In view of increasing pollution and global warming, every citizen, especially the youth, should plant at least one tree and ensure its proper care. He added that if every person plants and nurtures a tree, Punjab can once again become lush and green.
Punjab Youth Congress Secretary Amanpreet Singh Harry said that the initiative in memory of Vicky Middukhera is not only a tribute but also an effort to spread awareness about environmental conservation. He said such social initiatives inspire young people to understand their responsibility towards society and nature.
During the camp, hundreds of people enthusiastically collected saplings and pledged to take care of them. The organizers appealed to the public to not only plant trees but also nurture them so that future generations can enjoy a clean and green environment.
Among those present were Raja Walia, Pali, Sauravpreet Singh, Tarsem Singh, Ravi Mahal, Balwant Singh, Raman Kumar, Harjinder Singh, Jagroop Singh, Amrik Singh, Raj Kumar, Manpreet Singh, Inderjit Singh, Principal Singh, Bhavjot Singh, Akashdeep Sandhu, along with a large number of youth leaders and local residents. Everyone pledged to plant more trees and encourage others to join the environmental campaign.
