Chief Guest SDM Fatehgarh Sahib Karan Gupta Appreciates the Noble Initiative
Sirhind, July 19 (J.S. Khanna):A voluntary blood donation camp was successfully organized by Guru Kripa Sewa Sansthan, Sirhind, a social organization dedicated to humanity and selfless service, under the blessings of Param Pujya Shri Sudhanshu Ji Maharaj and with the support of the Vishwa Jagriti Mission. The camp was held on July 19, 2026, at the organization’s premises on Cinema Road, Sirhind.
The initiative received an overwhelming response from the public, with 53 voluntary blood donors donating blood and contributing to the noble cause of saving human lives.
The Chief Guest, PCS officer Karan Gupta, SDM, Fatehgarh Sahib, highly appreciated the efforts of Guru Kripa Sewa Sansthan. He said that regular blood donation is one of the greatest services to humanity and encouraged every eligible individual to donate blood from time to time. Promoting environmental awareness, he also planted a sapling during the event.
Blood collection was carried out by the Blood Bank team of Civil Hospital, Fatehgarh Sahib, under the supervision of Dr. Puneet Garg, following all prescribed medical standards and safety protocols.
Guru Kripa Sewa Sansthan President Ashwani Garg thanked all the blood donors, chief guests, and supporters for making the camp successful. He said that such humanitarian activities reflect the message of selfless service and compassion taught by their spiritual guide.
The organization’s Secretary Dr. Hitender Suri said that the message of Param Pujya Shri Sudhanshu Ji Maharaj—”Donate blood while alive, donate eyes after death”—continues to inspire them. Motivated by this vision, the organization remains committed to promoting voluntary blood donation and social service, as every drop of blood has the potential to save a precious life.
The organizers expressed heartfelt gratitude to the District Administration, Civil Hospital Fatehgarh Sahib, the medical team, volunteers, and all blood donors for their valuable support.
