Amritsar, June 17 (K.L. Jit Walia): In a move aimed at further strengthening the party organization, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has appointed senior leader from the Central Assembly Constituency and Ward No. 58 Councillor Jarnail Singh Dhot as the Lok Sabha Amritsar In-Charge. His appointment has generated tremendous enthusiasm and excitement among party leaders and workers.
Party workers believe that Jarnail Singh Dhot has been working tirelessly at the grassroots level for many years to strengthen the party. He enjoys a special reputation among workers due to his simplicity, dedication, approachable nature, and organizational abilities. He has actively participated in every major and minor party program and has consistently stood shoulder-to-shoulder with party workers.
After receiving his new responsibility, Jarnail Singh Dhot expressed his heartfelt gratitude to AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the party’s central and state leadership, and all senior leaders and workers of Amritsar district. He said that he would make every effort to live up to the trust reposed in him by the party.
He stated that he would perform his new responsibilities with complete honesty, dedication, and commitment and would work tirelessly to strengthen the organization down to the booth level. According to him, the real strength of the party lies in its dedicated workers, and he will follow a policy of taking every worker along.
Jarnail Singh Dhot further said that his primary goal is to contribute towards ensuring that the Aam Aadmi Party returns to power with a decisive majority in the Punjab Assembly Elections of 2027. To achieve this, he will work continuously to strengthen the organization and take the government’s welfare-oriented policies and development initiatives to the people.
Several party leaders and workers welcomed his appointment and expressed confidence that assigning this responsibility to a hardworking, honest, and experienced leader like Jarnail Singh Dhot would further strengthen the party organization in the Amritsar Lok Sabha constituency and benefit the party in future elections.
