Amritsar, April 15 (K.L. Jit Walia) – Members of the prominent social organization Majha Welfare Society of Amritsar met with Halka West MLA Dr. Jasbir Singh Sandhu under the leadership of President Gurpreet Singh Prince Ghumtala.
During the meeting, Prince Ghumtala provided detailed information about the social work being carried out by the society. He said that the organization regularly conducts medical camps and Aadhaar camps for the welfare of the public. On this occasion, Senior Vice President Tarsem Singh raised public concerns and demanded that the internal road of Malanwali village be constructed on a priority basis.
MLA Dr. Jasbir Singh Sandhu appreciated the efforts of the society and said that he is always ready to support such public welfare initiatives. He also encouraged the society to continue organizing awareness programs to educate people against social evils prevailing in society.
