Amritsar March 11 (K L Jit Walia) – A grand community feast dedicated to the sacred festival of Maha Shivratri was organized today at Chheharta Chowk by well known social worker Dharma Pradhan with the support of the Kakkar family local shopkeepers and residents of the area.
On this auspicious occasion a large langar service was arranged for devotees and passersby where hundreds of people received prasad and experienced spiritual joy. The event created a devotional atmosphere in the area as people gathered to celebrate the holy festival with faith and community spirit.
During the event Councillor Dharamjit Bobby former Councillor Arvind Sharma and former Councillor Avinash Saila were present as special guests and inaugurated the langar service. They stated that the festival of Maha Shivratri represents devotion to Lord Shiva along with the spirit of service and social unity. According to them such religious and social events play an important role in strengthening brotherhood harmony and mutual respect within society.
Speaking on the occasion Dharma Pradhan said that like every year this grand community feast was organized at Chheharta Chowk to mark the sacred festival. He added that the event was made successful due to the generous cooperation of local traders and residents of the area. He expressed gratitude to everyone who contributed to the event and emphasized that active participation of people in social and religious activities helps such initiatives grow stronger every year.
Several prominent local residents and shopkeepers including Anand Medical Raman Sharma Surinder Shinda Khandwala Rinku General Store Akashdeep Singh Professor Robin Singh Bal Manpreet Singh Manna Bal Akash Kumar from Bhalla Colony Kush Sharma Love Sharma Rahul Khatri and Ramesh Fast Food were present at the event and contributed enthusiastically to the langar service.
Throughout the program the entire area remained filled with a devotional atmosphere. Devotees chanted praises of Lord Shiva which added to the spiritual energy and enthusiasm of the gathering making the event memorable for everyone present.
