Matter involving Municipal Corporation, Traffic Police and Traders resolved through mutual consent

Amritsar, September 9 (K.L. Jeet Walia): A misunderstanding that arose in Chheharta Market following an argument between trader Amandeep of Anand Electronics and Municipal Corporation officials during an enforcement action by the Municipal Corporation and Traffic Police was amicably resolved today.
AAP constituency organisation in-charge Advocate Raman Kumar intervened in the matter and, through dialogue and mutual understanding, brought both sides together to resolve the issue peacefully.
Detailed discussions were held with both parties, following which the misunderstandings were cleared and the matter was settled through mutual consent. Advocate Raman Kumar assured both sides that better coordination and communication would be maintained in the future to prevent any such unpleasant situation.
During a meeting held at Anand Electronics, Aam Aadmi Party West organisation in-charge Advocate Raman Kumar was joined by AAP Traders Commission West constituency chairman Manjit Singh Maan, Block In-charge Harpreet Singh Marwaha, Jagjit Singh, Pritpal Singh, Avtar Singh Malli, Vinay Pal, Tarlok Nath, Jaswant Singh of Arora Bakery, Ashok Dhawan and other leaders.
The leaders said that the incident that occurred the previous day was the result of certain misunderstandings, which have now been completely resolved through dialogue and mutual agreement.
They stated that traders and the police share a long-standing, strong and inseparable relationship based on trust and cooperation. Traders, police, the Municipal Corporation and the administration all play important roles in ensuring that the city’s systems function smoothly.
The leaders added that the business community has always supported the administration in improving traffic management, cleanliness, smooth transportation and municipal services. Traders remain committed to following the guidelines issued by the government, police and Municipal Corporation and will continue working with the administration for the development and improvement of the city.
Advocate Raman Kumar said that the solution to any issue lies not in confrontation but in dialogue, mutual trust and cooperation. He said that the trader community is the backbone of the city’s economy, while the police and Municipal Corporation work to maintain security and ensure the smooth functioning of civic systems.
He emphasized that mutual coordination and mutual respect among all stakeholders are essential.
The leaders said that the district administration and the trader community are important pillars of society, and cooperation between them is necessary for the progress and prosperity of the city. They expressed hope that future issues would also be resolved through dialogue rather than misunderstandings, further strengthening the spirit of cooperation, brotherhood and mutual trust in the city.
