Ferozepur, August 24 (Rajiv Kumar): As part of the Punjab Government’s initiative to promote sports and connect youth with sporting activities, MLA Ranbir Singh Bhullar inaugurated newly constructed sports grounds in Village Khai and Machhiwara-104, Block Ferozepur.
The new sports grounds are being developed under the state government’s ambitious initiative to establish 3,100 new sports grounds across Punjab.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Ranbir Bhullar said that under the leadership of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and with the support of Cabinet Minister Tarunpreet Singh Saund, these sports grounds would provide youngsters with better facilities to hone their sporting talent and adopt a healthy lifestyle.
The MLA extended his heartfelt congratulations to the residents and youth of both villages on the inauguration of the new facilities.
He said that strengthening sports infrastructure in Punjab’s villages and providing young people with better opportunities to excel in sports remains one of the government’s continuous efforts. He expressed hope that these facilities would encourage more youngsters to participate in sports and move towards new heights of achievement
