Amritsar, July 2 (K.L. Jit Walia): Sukhjinder Singh has officially taken charge as the District Controller, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Amritsar, under the Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Punjab. On the occasion, departmental officials warmly welcomed him and extended their best wishes for his new responsibility.
After assuming office, Sukhjinder Singh said that he would work with complete dedication to ensure the transparent, efficient, and timely implementation of the government’s public welfare schemes. He added that providing uninterrupted and hassle-free food and civil supplies services to the public would remain the department’s top priority.
Present during the charge-taking ceremony were Mahinder Arora (Food Supply Officer, Amritsar), Meenu Sharma (Food Supply Officer, Rayya), Vikas Sharma (Assistant Food Supply Officer, Tarsikka), Saurav Mahajan (Assistant Food Supply Officer, Jandiala), Gaurav Sharma (Assistant Food Supply Officer, Majitha), Vishal Kumar (Inspector), Ramanjot Singh (Inspector), along with several other officials of the department.
The officers assured the new District Controller of their full cooperation in improving the department’s efficiency and ensuring better public service delivery.
