Amritsar, June 19 (K.L. Jit Walia):Senior Congress leader Sanjeev Arora has said that staying connected with Sanatan Dharma is the supreme duty of every Indian, as it promotes values of humanity, service, and cultural heritage.
The statement came during a meeting where Sachin Mehra, National President of the All India Hindu Sangharsh Committee, and Sahil Aggarwal, National Vice President, extended a special invitation to Sanjeev Arora for the upcoming Shrimad Bhagwat Katha and Kalash Yatra.
Speaking on the occasion, Arora said that the Shrimad Bhagwat Katha, scheduled from June 25 to July 1 on the occasion of the inauguration of the Yashoda Radha Old Age Home, is not merely a religious event but an inspiring initiative dedicated to Sanatan culture, social service, and humanity.
He appreciated the efforts of Sachin Mehra and Sahil Aggarwal in establishing an old-age home for the welfare and care of senior citizens, describing it as a noble and commendable initiative. He said such efforts serve as an inspiration for society and promote respect and care for the elderly.
Arora appealed to devotees and local residents to participate in large numbers in the grand Kalash Yatra, which will commence from Judge Nagar at 4 PM on June 24, and in the Shrimad Bhagwat Katha, to make the event a success and support such social and religious initiatives.
Prominent attendees included Anil Sharma, Ruby, Bikram Singh, Karan Singh, and several other distinguished guests.
