Amritsar, June 10 (Harpinder Soni) – BJP National President Nitin Nabin will visit Punjab for the first time after assuming office. During his visit, he is also scheduled to pay obeisance at religious places in the holy city of Amritsar.
To review preparations for his welcome, a special meeting was held at the BJP district office, Shaheed Harbans Lal Khanna Memorial, under the leadership of BJP District President Harvinder Singh Sandhu.
Senior BJP leader and National Vice President O. P. Dhankhar and Punjab BJP Vice President Bikramjit Singh Cheema were present during the meeting.
On the occasion, Harvinder Singh Sandhu welcomed both senior leaders and honored them with bouquets and shawls. BJP Rural-2 President Amarpal Singh Boni Ajnala, along with leaders and ward in-charges from all nine Assembly constituencies of the Amritsar Lok Sabha constituency, also attended the meeting.
Addressing the gathering, O.P. Dhankhar provided detailed information regarding the programs scheduled during Nitin Nabin’s Amritsar visit. He issued guidelines to party workers for strengthening grassroots preparations and emphasized the need to activate workers up to the booth level to ensure the visit’s success.
Bikramjit Singh Cheema discussed local issues and the organizational status of the party. He stated that the visit of the national leadership would further strengthen the BJP in Amritsar and across Punjab. He added that Nitin Nabin’s arrival would infuse new enthusiasm and energy among party workers and urged everyone to work collectively to make the visit successful and spread the party’s message to every household.
Speaking on the occasion, Harvinder Singh Sandhu said that BJP workers in Amritsar are highly enthusiastic about the National President’s visit. He described the visit as significant for strengthening the organization and preparing for future political challenges.
All attendees unanimously pledged to accord a grand welcome to Nitin Nabin and ensure the success of his visit while taking responsibility for various organizational activities and upcoming events.
