Talbir Gill Honors Winning Aam Aadmi Party Candidates
Majitha, May 31 (Subhash Chandra Bhagat): Following the Majitha Municipal Council elections, in which the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) secured seven seats and the Shiromani Akali Dal won six seats, AAP constituency in-charge Talbir Singh Gill held a press conference. On the occasion, he expressed heartfelt gratitude to the voters and supporters of Majitha town.
During the press conference, Talbir Singh Gill responded to allegations made by senior Shiromani Akali Dal leader Bikram Singh Majithia. He stated that Majithia has long been engaged in creating obstacles to development projects in the area and staging political drama.
Gill said that the statements made by Majithia in recent days were far from the truth. He added that the actual facts regarding the issues being raised by Majithia are entirely different and that the people are well aware of the reality.
Talbir Gill alleged that during the elections, some workers of the Akali Dal deliberately tried to create a disturbed atmosphere. However, he said that the people of Majitha gave them a fitting reply through their votes.
He further stated that the public is now prioritizing development, transparency, and good governance. According to him, the election results reflect the changing priorities of the people.
Gill emphasized that the Aam Aadmi Party remains committed to the development of Majitha and the welfare of its residents. He said that the public support received in the elections would be further strengthened through dedicated service to the people.
On this occasion, Talbir Singh Gill also felicitated the winning AAP candidates in the Majitha Municipal Council elections by offering them sweets and congratulating them on their victory.
