K.L. Jit Walia, Amritsar :- An important meeting of Swadeshi Jagran Manch, Amritsar Metropolitan, was held, in which it was decided that a Swadeshi Promotion Fair will be organized in Amritsar in the third week of March 2026.
The main objective of this fair is to provide a broad platform to local manufacturers and MSME units for showcasing and promoting their products.
This will be a unique event of its kind in the state of Punjab, with special emphasis on the promotion of Swadeshi products, aimed at encouraging local industries and reducing dependence on imported goods.
The meeting also decided that on the occasion of National Youth Day, a Swadeshi Run will be organized from 12 January 2026 to 23 January 2026 across various educational institutions in Amritsar. The initiative aims to strengthen the spirit of Swadeshi among youth and students.
The meeting was chaired by Dr. Neha Tejpal (Punjab State Convenor). Prominent attendees included CA Amit Handa (Punjab State Co-Convenor), CA Bhavesh Mahajan (Punjab In-Charge, Swarnim Bharatvarsh Foundation), Advocate Mohit Mahajan (Amritsar Metropolitan Convenor), Mrs. Mishti Arun (Amritsar Women Head), Advocate Piyush Bhatia (Punjab State Publicity Head), Mr. Davinder Pal Singh (In-Charge, Traders’ Units), and CA Iqbal Singh Grover (Amritsar Department Convenor).
