Amritsar, January 24 (K.L. Jit Walia):Aam Aadmi Party MLA from the Amritsar West Assembly constituency, Dr Jasbir Singh Sandhu, inaugurated a new tubewell in Ward No. 75, Guru Ki Wadali. The inauguration brought a wave of happiness among local residents, as a long-standing problem related to drinking water has now been resolved.
Addressing the gathering during the inauguration ceremony, Dr Sandhu said that the Aam Aadmi Party government is fulfilling the basic needs of the people on a priority basis. He emphasized that access to clean and safe drinking water is the right of every citizen and stated that the government is continuously working to strengthen basic infrastructure in every ward.
Dr Sandhu further informed that more development projects will be initiated in the area in the future to further improve the standard of living of residents. He assured the ward residents that resolving public issues will always remain a top priority for the government.
On this occasion, Aam Aadmi Party leaders, workers, and a large number of local residents were present. The people thanked the MLA and appreciated the initiative taken for the welfare of the area.
Those present at the program included Dilbagh Singh Wadali, Ward In-charge Sunny Wadali, Binder Neta, PA Amarjit Singh Shergill, PA Madhav Sharma, along with several other residents of the area.
