Wave of Happiness Among Traders in the Majha Region
Amritsar, January 24 (K.L. Jit Walia):Shiromani Akali Dal President Sardar Sukhbir Singh Badal, after consultations with the party’s Industry and Trade Wing President and Treasurer Shri N.K. Sharma, has announced the new core committee of the Industry and Trade Wing. Senior party leader from Amritsar and a popular face among the trading community, Rajinder Singh Marwaha, has been included in this committee.
Marwaha has consistently raised his voice for the rights of traders and has played an important role in taking their issues to the government. On this occasion, Marwaha expressed his gratitude to Party President Sukhbir Singh Badal, Industry Wing President N.K. Sharma, senior leader Dr. Daljit Singh, and senior leader Virsa Singh Valtoha. He said that the responsibility entrusted to him would be carried out with complete honesty and dedication.
On the occasion, leaders including Charanjit Singh Poonji, Jasvir Ahluwalia, Sunny Dara, Amarjit Singh Narang (CA), Harpal Singh Ahluwalia, Sukhwinder Singh Kohli, Harry Bhatia, Ginny Bhatia, and Mandeep Singh, among others, expressed happiness over Marwaha’s appointment. They stated that this decision has created a wave of joy among traders and industrialists of the Majha region and will prove to be a major step towards resolving their issues. They added that Marwaha has always stood like a rock with the traders of Amritsar and the Majha region.
In addition, Party President Sukhbir Singh Badal and Trade Wing President N.K. Sharma have also included several senior party leaders in the core committee, including Advocate Harish Rai Dhanda (former MLA), Amit Kapoor (Amritsar), Kamal Chetli (Ludhiana), R.D. Sharma, Prem Kumar Arora (Mansa), Ranjit Singh Khurana (Phagwara), Gurmeet Singh Kular (Ludhiana), Sanjeev Shauri (Barnala), Sanjeev Talwar (Hoshiarpur), Paramjit Singh Makkar (Ropar), Harjit Singh (CA, Mohali), Advocate Parmveer Singh Sanni, and Prem Valecha (Jalalabad).
