Residents urged to fully cooperate with sanitation teams and dispose of garbage only at designated places: Balwinder Singh Laddi
Batala, September 5 (Balwinder Bhalla): — Under the second phase of the Punjab Government’s ‘Clean Punjab’ campaign, aimed at making Punjab cleaner and more beautiful, a special cleanliness drive was carried out in Sri Hargobindpur Sahib today under the leadership of senior Aam Aadmi Party leader and former MLA Balwinder Singh Laddi.
Speaking on the occasion, Balwinder Singh Laddi said that the Punjab Government’s ‘Mission Clean Punjab’ is a commendable initiative. He expressed confidence that under this campaign, Sri Hargobindpur Sahib would become visibly cleaner and more beautiful in the coming days.
He appealed to the residents of the city to extend their full cooperation to the sanitation teams, dispose of garbage only at designated locations and refrain from littering public places.
Laddi said that while government efforts are important, active participation and collective cooperation from the people are equally essential to make the city clean, beautiful and environmentally friendly.
He added that maintaining cleanliness should become a shared responsibility of every citizen, as public participation can play a major role in ensuring the long-term success of the Mission Clean Punjab campaign.
