Chowk Mehta, August 12 (Tarsem Singh Randhawa): In view of the upcoming Independence Day celebrations on August 15, Mehta Police conducted a flag march in the town under the leadership of SHO Mehta, Simranjit Kaur, along with a police team.
During the flag march, the police visited various markets and prominent locations in the town and reviewed the security arrangements. Speaking to journalists, SHO Mehta said that comprehensive security arrangements have been put in place in the area in view of Independence Day.
The police appealed to residents to immediately inform the police about any suspicious person or object. People were also urged to maintain peace and cooperate with the police in ensuring effective security arrangements.
